The Medium is the Massage by Marshall McLuhan is a book about the effects of technology in media and how the medium affects how the audience consumes content.
The original designer of the book, Quentin Fiore, used a wide range of photography and illustrations to complement the content figuratively and literally. My redesign was inspired by my interpretation of McLuhan's message of how modern technology has simplified the way we think when we consume content. My images were comprised of simple shapes and colors to match that feeling of straightforward minimalism.
